Dina Goldstein

NOT-SO-LITTLE Red riding hood. I noticed that shes wearing a really bright red cape. She's wearing bright yellow shoes, i think shes wearing them so that she can stand out in the forest. I think its a dumb idea because she endangers herself as a target. Shes walking with a basket full of Mac Donalds. The food makes her look fatter than she is. There are orange leaves in the forest ground which means that its probably fall. It looks pretty cold.

The little red riding hood lives 10 miles away from the value village. She had been starving yesterday for the whole day so she made her way over to MacDonalds. On her way there and back she didnt have a choice but to cross through the forest. She has always been really scared to go alone so she decided to go in the morning, that way on her way back it wount be as dark. Knowing that she ran out of Big Macs for the whole week had her speed walking through the forest. When she got to MacDonalds she ordered 10 big macs, 10 fries, 1 drink and put the food in her basket. On her way back she got thirsty from walking so much so she drank some of her coke. She started feeling tired so she slowed down and began taking baby steps. All her weight made her lazy and sad.

This picture is funny because of the fact that the little red riding hood is not fat in real life. This lady is basically making fun of herself by wearing that costume. It dosent fit her appearance because shes oversized. It makes sense for her to be walking through the forest in that costume but its weird it looks like she will be taking baby steps the whole way because it looks as if she dislikes walking.

Looking At Ads

This Advertisement describes milk as an ethos. The purpose of this ad is to convince that milk is the healthiest way to grow muscle. It also says that it makes you look way better and with this picture of David Beckham it sure convinces people.

This Ad looks at a real Patho that shows how bad of an injury you can get by not wearing a seat belt. It’s basically telling you that you’re more likely to die if you don’t wear a seat belt. This means that you need this product if you want to be happy with the results. As you can see this poor guy looks sad and dissapointed.

This Ad is a logo that describes how this drink is the best. I agree, you have to try it because it feels like it’s a blast that takes you on a trip to the refreshing taste of pop lemonade. I like how the cannon ball is used to get the point across. Drinking this soda will take you to an adventure that only Mountain Dew can take you to.

Merchants Of Cool

I learned that teens are the number one source of merchandise. The Cool Finder Organization targets them in order to sell most of their products. The one thing that shocked me was how many young girls are influenced by what they see on TV. Including the message that Britney Spears sends: Use your body to get what you want. I don’t think that’s a good message because it endangers girls to have sex for money or fame at an early age.

I think this quote is very true because the cool hunter organization goes out looking for what’s “cool” and after they found it, it’s not cool anymore. Therefore what they’re doing is giving teens the chance to show their true colors, making products for them to spend their money on and then eliminating their interests by making a whole different era. What this quote basically says is that they will bribe teens for their money. Not cool.

I don’t agree with this quote because it’s not true. I think the Media is part responsible for the action and the way teens act because of all the movies they make. It feels like now a days there’s a sexual seen on every movie including PG 13 movies. I mean, how do they not expect for teens to act wild and dirty if they see it on the media? TV, internet and movies influences everyone especially teens.
